Choose countryThe SMALLRIG DMW-BLK22 kit combines two 1940 mAh lithium-ion batteries with a dual-channel USB-C charger for select Panasonic LUMIX cameras. Keep one battery in the camera while the other is charging or ready as a spare.
Charging and power options
The charger accepts one or two batteries. With a compatible power adapter, it charges two batteries in about 2 hours; a power source rated at least 22.5 W is recommended for maximum performance. Its USB-C input supports PD 3.0, QC 2.0 and QC 3.0. A 5 V / 2.4 A adapter activates slow-charge mode, charging channel 1 fully before switching to channel 2.
Status monitoring and compatibility
- Charge display: five LEDs per channel show charge in 20% increments, even without external power. A red light indicates critically low charge.
- Charging control: temperature and voltage monitoring limits or stops charging if overheating or excessive voltage occurs, with trickle charging as the battery approaches full charge.
- Camera communication: full decoding enables correct charge-level display and use with original Panasonic chargers without warning messages.
