The SunSun CUV-655 is a 55 W flow-through UV-C lamp for pond and water-feature filtration systems. It helps reduce floating algae, bacteria and other microorganisms. It supports ponds up to 65 000 L, with a separate recommendation of approximately 18 000 L for koi ponds.

UV-C water treatment

The internal flow design prolongs water contact with UV-C radiation, while a stainless steel reflector directs rays back into the treatment chamber. Treated microorganisms clump into larger particles that can then be removed by a filter. Use alongside a biological filter is recommended. With a suitably selected filtration system, the first noticeable improvement in water clarity may appear in as little as 14 days.
