Choose countryThe KS Tools digital tester checks 12 V starter batteries, starter motors and charging circuits. Its integrated thermal printer produces a test report for discussing the results with workshop customers.
Battery and system checks
The tester assesses battery condition, state of charge, internal resistance and cold-start current, taking temperature compensation into account. Its working range is 50–1 400 CCA, with a voltage measurement range of 1.5–17 V. It is intended for 12 V batteries.
- Compatibility: lead-acid, gel, wet-cell, MF, VRLA, calcium, AGM and deep-cycle batteries.
- Controls: menu navigation guides the automatic test procedure, with results shown on an illuminated digital display.
- Connection: two plastic-sheathed alligator clips and a 0.43 m cable.
Housing and contents
A durable rubber cover surrounds the housing. A thermal paper roll is included. The operating temperature range is -18 to 55 °C.
