MD-3010II metal detector with LCD and waterproof search coil
The MD-3010II is a metal detector for finding coins, jewellery and other metal objects. It combines an LCD display with metal discrimination and a waterproof search coil.
Identification and controls
Visual indication and a modulated audio signal help distinguish ferromagnetic from non-ferromagnetic metals. The specified detection depth is 0–30 cm.
- Discrimination: a filter allows small metal objects to be ignored.
- Sensitivity: adjustable for searching different ground types and depths.
- Audio: adjustable volume, selectable tones for metal types, a built-in speaker and a headphone socket.
- Fit: adjustable shaft length and forearm support.
Search coil and power
The waterproof search coil allows searching in shallow water. Waterproofing applies to the coil, not the entire detector. Power requires 6 AA 1.5 V batteries, with a low-battery indicator provided.

In Poland, use requires permission from the relevant provincial heritage protection office.

Can the entire detector be submerged?
Waterproofing is specified only for the search coil, allowing searches in shallow water. Submerging the whole detector is not part of the described use.
