Lepro 1100008 UV LED torch, 395 nm, 21 LEDs

The Lepro 1100008 UV LED torch helps reveal stains, traces and markings that are difficult to see under ordinary lighting. Its 21 UV LEDs emit light at a wavelength of 395 nm for inspecting surfaces at home, in hotels and elsewhere.

Inspect stains and fluorescent markings

Cleanliness checks: helps locate animal urine stains and food stains, and detect fluorescent whitening agents in clothing.
Security features: inspect fluorescent features and markings on banknotes, documents, ID cards, jewellery and admission stamps.
Invisible ink: read messages written with invisible ink or UV pens, including during geocaching.
Outdoor observation: observe fluorescent flowers and other UV-reactive objects, or use the light to observe or attract insects.

Compact housing and battery power

The aluminium housing measures 8.99 × 3.61 × 3.61 cm, and the torch weighs 100 g. Its IPX4 rating provides resistance to water splashes. It runs on 3 AAA batteries, which are included along with a user manual.

UV light safety

Do not direct the UV light into the eyes of people or animals, and avoid looking directly at the light source. UV-protective eyewear is recommended for additional protection during use.
