Choose countryThe Cobra Tector RUSH is a metal detector for finding coins, jewellery and other metal objects beneath the ground. It combines a 280 mm DD search coil with adjustable sensitivity and a backlit LCD showing target type and depth.
Search modes and target identification
- All metal: searches for all types of metal.
- Disc: excludes unwanted metal categories, with 5 of the 6 categories rejectable, except silver.
- Memory: memorises one selected metal type at a time to ignore other objects.
- Jewelry: searches for jewellery while automatically ignoring iron objects.
- Pinpoint: locates the object's precise position.
Targets are identified using an audio tone, a category icon and a numerical target ID from 0–99. The screen also shows the operating mode, battery level, volume and sensitivity. The specified object detection depth is less than 22 cm.
Coil, shaft and audio
The search coil is IPX7 waterproof. The aluminium telescopic shaft adjusts from 71 to 137 cm and has an armrest for support. During searching, the coil is held 3–5 cm above the ground. Adjustable audio is available through the built-in speaker or headphones with a 3.5 mm plug.
Operation requires 2 × 9 V batteries. Batteries and headphones are not included.

Can the whole detector be submerged?
The IPX7 waterproof rating applies to the DD search coil only, not to the entire detector.
