Choose countryThe GC-1028 metal detector is designed to locate coins, jewellery and other metal objects buried underground. It features a backlit LCD, 3 operating modes and distinct audio tones for different metals.
Search modes and controls
- ALL METAL: detects all metals without excluding any metal types.
- DISC: allows selected metals to be excluded from detection.
- PINPOINT: helps locate the target more precisely and displays its approximate depth.
- Adjustments: sensitivity and audio volume are adjustable, with sensitivity and battery-level indicators on screen.
Construction and power
The waterproof 21.5 cm coil supports searching on wet grass, sand and mud. The shaft adjusts from 96.5 to 120.5 cm. An armrest with an adjustable strap and a non-slip foam-covered grip help support and hold the detector.
Power requires 2 × 9 V batteries, which are not included. A 3.5 mm socket allows headphones to be connected; headphones are not included.

Is the whole detector waterproof?
Waterproof construction is specified for the coil, not for the whole detector.
Are batteries and headphones included?
No. The detector requires 2 × 9 V batteries. Headphones can be connected to the 3.5 mm socket but are not included.
