Choose countryThe GL.iNet Flint 3e GL-BE6500 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router for home and office networks with many simultaneous connections. It offers a combined wireless speed of up to 6 500 Mb/s and five 2.5G Ethernet ports. Support for over 100 devices was tested under laboratory conditions, with stated coverage of up to approximately 232 m².
Wireless, wired and backup connections
MLO uses the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, while 4K QAM and puncturing technologies help make efficient use of available bandwidth. Four external antennas fold down.
- Wired networking: one WAN and four LAN ports, with LAN1 configurable as a second WAN.
- Multiple internet sources: Multi-WAN, failover and load balancing support backup connections and traffic distribution.
- VPN: WireGuard client and server speeds up to 1 100 Mb/s; OpenVPN with DCO up to 680 Mb/s. Global Mode routes the network through one VPN tunnel, while Policy Mode applies separate routing rules.
Configuration and shared resources
The OpenWrt 23.05-based system supports over 5 000 plugins. USB 3.0 Type-A enables file and printer sharing and tethering, including 4G/5G connections. With storage attached, the router can act as a lightweight NAS or media server.
AdGuard Home helps block adverts and trackers. Guest network isolation and local parental controls are available; the free Bark Home plan supports access schedules and website filtering. Manage settings through the GL.iNet app, Web Admin Panel or GoodCloud.
The package includes the router, power adapter, Ethernet cable, converter and user manual.
