Its integrated Edge AI module delivers 100 TOPS of computing power—up to 100 trillion operations per second—allowing high-volume sensor data analysis in real time. The station also provides automatic contact charging, enabling the robot to return autonomously to the base after completing missions.
Autonomy and Environmental Analysis
With 100 TOPS of computing capacity, the module supports a 3D SLAM system that maps the environment while tracking the robot’s position. Unitree Go2 can process LiDAR data, plan navigation paths across complex terrain, and operate without GPS signals. The onboard system supports computer vision functions such as multi-object identification, person tracking, gesture recognition, and detection of structural anomalies or leaks for monitoring and inspection tasks.
Connectivity and External Interfaces
The docking station acts as a centralized communications hub for integrating optional hardware, including the Unitree D1 robotic arm, Hesai and Livox LiDAR systems, and gas detection sensors. The unit operates on a 16–60 V input range and features an IP54-rated enclosure.
