The Newell Elea Mini is a compact camera flash with 4 power settings and a built-in rechargeable battery. Weighing 49 g, it fits a lightweight kit for travel, reportage and everyday photography.
Control flash output and direction
A Fresnel lens focuses light onto the subject, while the 90° tilting head lets you bounce the flash off ceilings or walls for softer indoor shadows. The flash has a guide number of GN 8 at ISO 100, a colour temperature of 5600 K (±300 K) and a colour rendering index of CRI 97.
- Power settings: choose 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or full output at 1/1.
- Recycling: at 1/8 power, repeated flashes require no recycling wait; recycling takes 2 s at 1/4, 3 s at 1/2 and 5 s at 1/1.
- Rechargeable power: the built-in 300 mAh lithium-ion battery charges through USB-C from a charger or power bank and provides approximately 480 full-power flashes per charge.
Mounting and included accessories
The flash uses a standard hot shoe with a universal contact, supporting compatible Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus and Pentax cameras with this connection. A USB-A to USB-C cable and carrying case are included with the flash.
