Choose countryThe UNI-T UT673A tests 12 V lead-acid starter batteries with capacities of 3–250 Ah. It also checks 12 V and 24 V vehicle starting and charging systems, helping distinguish battery condition from system operation.
Battery condition testing
The tester supports conventional lead-acid, flat-plate AGM, spiral AGM, GEL and EFB batteries. Its four-point Kelvin measurement method eliminates the influence of lead resistance on measurements. Testing does not require battery removal.
- Parameters: battery voltage, capacity, internal resistance, state of charge and battery life status.
- Standards: 10 selectable standards, including CCA, EN, DIN, SAE and JIS.
- Results: a 128 × 64 monochrome display and coloured traffic-light LED indication.
- Protection: overvoltage and reverse-connection protection, plus poor-contact indication.
Test ranges and operation
The 12 V battery test measures within 7–16 V DC. Starting and charging system tests for 12/24 V vehicles operate within 7–30 V DC. The interface offers a choice of Chinese or English.

Can it test a 24 V battery?
Battery testing is intended for 12 V lead-acid starter batteries. The 24 V capability applies to vehicle starting and charging system tests, with a measuring range of 7–30 V DC.
Does it support AGM and EFB batteries?
Yes. It supports flat-plate AGM, spiral AGM, EFB, GEL and conventional lead-acid batteries with capacities of 3–250 Ah.
