The Ancel AD310/AC103 is an OBD2 diagnostic scanner for reading engine fault codes and checking vehicle diagnostic data. It displays code definitions on its LCD screen and works without an internet connection.

Engine diagnostic functions

  • Fault codes: read and clear engine fault codes, with a MIL (Check Engine) indicator-off function.
  • Live data: view real-time operating data and vehicle information.
  • Freeze Frame: review and analyse vehicle data captured when a fault occurred.
  • I/M readiness: check emissions-system readiness ahead of an emissions inspection.

Compatibility and operation

The scanner supports OBDII/EOBD+CAN. Compatibility is stated for most US vehicles from 1996, European vehicles from 2000 and Asian vehicles from 2005. The vehicle's diagnostic-system support also needs to match.

An LCD screen, control buttons and menus provide access to diagnostic information. Its compact design makes it easy to carry between a home garage and a workshop.
