The be quiet! SILENT WINGS 4 is a white 140 mm cooling fan with motherboard-controlled PWM speed adjustment. Its optimised blades are designed for use on heatsinks, with virtually inaudible operation at ordinary speeds.

Airflow and quiet operation

A small gap between the frame and blades, together with funnel-shaped air outlets, helps build air pressure. At 100% PWM and 12 V, airflow is 87.16 m³/h and noise is 13.6 dB(A). A 6-pole motor and fluid-dynamic bearing help minimise vibration.

Connection and mounting

Control: a 4-pin PWM connection enables speed adjustment through the motherboard.
Mounting: anti-vibration push-pin mounts and an alternative screw-mounting option.
Size and cable: a 140 × 140 × 25 mm frame with a 50 cm cable.

The fan operates at 12 V. Its specified life expectancy at 25 °C is 300 000 hours. The white finish is complemented by a high-gloss fan sticker.
