The ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse PWM PST A-RGB set includes 3 black 120 mm case fans designed to draw air in from the back. This reverse-airflow layout suits installations where the orientation of conventional fans would compromise the desired appearance.

Airflow and control

  • High static pressure: 4.5 mm H2O helps move air through radiators, perforated panels and mesh filters.
  • PWM speed control: operates at 500–3000 RPM and stops below 5 % PWM.
  • PST daisy-chaining: an additional PWM connector allows multiple fans to be synchronised from a single header.
  • A-RGB Gen2 lighting: 12 addressable LEDs with a separate 3-pin lighting connection.

Construction and connections

A fluid dynamic bearing with an extended shaft and precision balancing reduce vibration. The flared intake and teardrop-shaped spokes reduce airflow losses and aerodynamic noise. The motor microcontroller compensates for load fluctuations and provides protection against inrush currents and reverse polarity.

The fans require 12 V DC, while the A-RGB lighting uses 5 V DC. Each fan measures 120 × 120 × 25 mm; the pack contains 3 fans.

How does the Reverse version differ from a conventional fan?

It is designed to draw air in from the back. This is useful where the orientation of a conventional fan would compromise the intended appearance of the build.

What connections do the fans and lighting need?

The fans use a 4-pin PWM connection and 12 V DC power. The A-RGB lighting has a separate 3-pin connection and uses 5 V DC. PST allows multiple fans to be controlled from a single header.
