The ARCTIC P12 PRO Reverse PWM PST A-RGB is a white 120 mm case fan designed to draw air in from its back side. Its reversed airflow suits installations where a conventional fan would compromise the visible appearance of the build.

Airflow and speed control

High static pressure helps move air through radiators, perforated panels and mesh filters. PWM control provides a speed range of 500–3000 RPM, with the fan stopping below a 5 % PWM signal.

  • PST connection: an additional PWM socket lets daisy-chained fans run in synchronisation from a single header.
  • A-RGB lighting: 12 A-RGB Gen2 LEDs with a 3-pin plug and socket.
  • FDB bearing: a fluid dynamic bearing and extended shaft help reduce vibration.
  • Motor control: the microcontroller reduces motor noise, compensates for load fluctuations and protects against inrush currents and reverse polarity.

Size and connections

The fan measures 120 × 120 × 25 mm. The motor uses a 12 V DC, 4-pin connection, while the lighting requires a separate 5 V A-RGB connection. The main cable is 400 mm long, with an 80 mm daisy-chain cable. A trumpet-shaped intake, teardrop-shaped spokes and narrow gaps help reduce airflow losses and turbulence.

Can multiple fans be synchronised?

Yes. The additional PST PWM connector allows daisy-chained fans to be controlled in synchronisation from a single header.

Do the motor and lighting use the same connection?

No. The motor uses a 4-pin connection with 12 V DC power, while the A-RGB lighting uses a 3-pin connection with 5 V DC power.
