The ARCTIC P12 PRO PWM PST A-RGB is a black 120 mm computer case fan with addressable lighting. Its high static pressure helps move air through cooling radiators, perforated panels and mesh filters.

Speed and lighting control

  • PWM adjustment: speed ranges from 600–3000 RPM, with the fan stopping below a 5 % PWM signal.
  • PST connection: an additional PWM socket allows multiple fans to be daisy-chained for synchronised control from one header.
  • A-RGB Gen2: 12 LEDs use a separate 5 V connection with a 3-pin plug and socket.

Construction and connections

A fluid dynamic bearing and extended shaft help reduce vibration. Automated balancing, revised blades and minimal gaps support smooth operation and airflow efficiency. The microcontroller reduces motor noise, compensates for load fluctuations and provides protection against inrush currents and reverse polarity. The stated noise level is 25 dB(A).

The fan measures 120 × 120 × 25 mm. Its motor uses 12 V DC and a 4-pin connection, while the lighting uses a separate 5 V supply. The cable is 400 mm long, with an additional 80 mm daisy-chain cable.

Can multiple fans be controlled from one header?

Yes. The additional PST PWM connection allows multiple fans to be daisy-chained for synchronised control from a single header.

What connections do the motor and lighting use?

The fan has a 4-pin plug and socket, and the motor runs on 12 V DC. The A-RGB lighting has a separate 3-pin plug and socket and uses 5 V DC.
