For direct drive extruders, speeds up to 50 mm/s with retraction or up to 60 mm/s without retraction are recommended. For Bowden systems, recommended speeds are 20–30 mm/s.
How do you achieve softer or stiffer printed parts?
For maximum softness, print with 0% infill and a wall thickness of 0.8–1.2 mm. For higher elasticity and stiffness, set infill to 5–15% and wall thickness to 1.2 mm or greater.
