Choose countryELEGOO ASA is a black FDM 3D printing filament for garden, technical and decorative parts. Its resistance to sunlight, rain and heat makes it suitable for projects exposed to outdoor conditions.
For outdoor and functional parts
ASA offers higher heat resistance than PLA and PETG and retains its shape at temperatures close to 100 °C. Its impact resistance, strength and stiffness are comparable to ABS. Precise winding and a diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm support even material feeding and reduce the risk of jams.
Printing conditions and packaging
- Temperatures: use a nozzle temperature of 240–270 °C and a bed temperature of 90–100 °C, depending on the printer and surface.
- Surface and speed: textured PEI or another compatible surface; print at less than 270 mm/s.
- Compatibility: suitable for most FDM 3D printers.
- Packaging: 1 kg of filament on a recycled cardboard spool, vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber.
The recommended drying temperature before printing is 80 ± 5 °C. Store with a moisture absorber, observing the specified relative humidity limit of ≤20%.
