Reliable EFR32MG21 Chip and Flexible Operating Modes
Powered by the Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 chipset, the adapter provides low power consumption and reliable communication across smart home networks. It can operate as a ZigBee coordinator, ZigBee router, Thread RCP, or in MultiPAN mode for simultaneous ZigBee and Thread communication. Dedicated flashing tools allow quick firmware customization for specific deployment needs.
Adjustable Antenna and Interference Reduction
The 90 mm adjustable antenna allows flexible positioning and delivers a communication range of up to 140 meters in open space. Built with an ultrasonically welded aluminum and PC + ABS housing, the dongle is roughly 65% smaller than older designs. An included 0.5 m USB extension cable allows the device to be placed away from host computer chassis to reduce electromagnetic interference.
