Choose countryThe Metabo KGS 216 M is a corded sliding crosscut and mitre saw for cutting wide workpieces. This set includes a 216 mm saw blade and a second carbide-tipped blade.
Cut alignment and adjustment
Precision Cut Line uses an LED to cast a shadow cutting line for positioning the cut. Maximum cutting capacity is 305 x 70 mm at 90°/90° and 215 x 40 mm at 45°/45°. The blade tilts from -2° to 47°, allowing undercuts.
- Workpiece support: removable, extendable table extensions and a quick-clamping material clamp.
- Depth control: a depth stop for setting cutting depth.
- Starting: soft-start function.
- Operation: scales and controls readable from the working position.
Construction and included equipment
The saw has a die-cast aluminium construction and an ergonomic handle area. Included equipment comprises 2 integrated table extensions, a blade-change tool, cable rewind, chip collection bag, crosscut fence and material clamp. It operates on a 220–240 V mains supply and has a 2 m cable.
