Choose countryThe Metabo BAS 261 is a mains-powered band saw with a cutting height of 103 mm and a passage width of 245 mm. Its cast iron table tilts through 0–45° for angled cuts.
Cut guidance and visibility
A precise rip fence with double clamping and quick fixing helps set the cutting direction. Adjustable HSS precision three-roller guides support the blade above and below the table, while an LED work light illuminates the working area.
- Drive: a quiet induction motor and balanced, rubber-coated flywheels provide smooth blade running.
- Adjustment: tool-free door opening for easier blade changes and tool-free blade guard height adjustment.
- Dust extraction: supports an external extraction system, with an adapter for Ø 44, 58 and 100 mm connections included.
- Protection: restart protection prevents restarting after a power interruption.
