Choose countryThe Makita DJV184Z is an 18 V LXT cordless pendulum jigsaw for cutting wood, steel and aluminium. This version comes without a battery or charger.
Cutting control
The stroke rate is adjustable from 0–3000 min⁻¹, with 3 pendulum settings and a neutral position. Maximum cutting capacity is 135 mm in wood at 90°, 10 mm in steel and 20 mm in aluminium. The die-cast aluminium base plate tilts 45° to either side.
- Blade changes: tool-free replacement and a universal mount.
- Cut visibility: twin LEDs and cooling airflow that clears the cutting area.
- Dust extraction: connection for an external extraction unit.
- Stopping: a motor brake is provided.
Contents and battery compatibility
Supplied accessories include a suction nozzle, plastic glide shoe, protective cover, hex key and an HCS blade for wood, veneer and plastic. The blade has a 77 mm working length and 100 mm total length, with a specified wood and plastic thickness range of 5–50 mm. BL1890 and BL18120 batteries are not compatible with this tool.

No, both are supplied separately. The tool uses the 18 V LXT battery system; BL1890 and BL18120 batteries are not compatible.
