The Yongnuo YN14EX II is a dedicated ring flash kit designed for macro and portrait photography with Canon system cameras. The unit consists of a hot-shoe control module and an external ring containing two independently adjustable flash tubes, connected by a 40–70 cm flexible cable.
Flash Modes and Lighting Control
The unit supports Canon E-TTL automatic metering as well as full manual control. Output can be adjusted from 1/128 to 1/1 in 1/3 EV increments, either simultaneously or independently across both flash tubes. Features include flash exposure compensation, bracketing, power ratio adjustment, and second-curtain synchronization. Two integrated continuous LEDs assist with autofocus in low-light environments.
Mounting and Accessories
The kit includes four magnetic diffuser sets to modify color temperature and light quality, as well as four lens adapter rings for broad compatibility.
