Choose countryThe UNI-T UT25CL is a wire and cable locator with transmitter and receiver functions for tracing installations and locating circuit faults. It detects wires in walls, traces underground cables and locates fuses and associated devices.
Tracing and fault location
It helps locate breaks and short circuits, including those in metal floor heating systems, and traces metal water and heating pipes. Tracking depth is approximately 0–2.5 m in single-pole mode and 0–0.5 m in bipolar mode.
Signal control and indication
- Multiple transmitters: one receiver supports up to 8 transmitters, with codes from 0 to 7.
- Adjustable sensitivity: automatic or manual adjustment, with 3 receiver levels and 9 transmitter levels.
- Result indication: LCD screens, LED indicators and audible signals help you read the results.
- Lighting: a built-in torch and automatic screen illumination assist in dimly lit areas.
Voltage detection
The transmitter voltage range is AC/DC 8–480 V. The receiver offers non-contact voltage detection (NCV) from 80–1000 V at 50/60 Hz, with a voltage detection depth of approximately 0–0.4 m. The specified overvoltage category is CAT III 480 V, with an IP54 protection rating. Automatic shut-off is also provided.
