The Y8X is a motorcycle helmet intercom offering Mesh group communication for up to 8 users with compatible intercoms. Mesh conversations do not require a phone, while Bluetooth smartphone connectivity enables phone calls and music playback.
Communication and audio controls
- Phone calls: answer, reject and end calls or redial the last number. Automatic answering is available after configuration.
- Music: pause and resume playback, change tracks and adjust volume. Music sharing lets two users with compatible intercoms listen to the same audio.
- Mixed mode: use communication and audio playback at the same time.
- Voice assistant: activate the connected smartphone’s assistant. Available commands depend on the phone’s system and functions.
Buttons on the housing control functions and pairing. LED indicators show connection, pairing and charging status, while voice prompts also provide battery-level information.
Helmet mounting and charging
The compact black intercom measures 11 × 6 cm. Mounting accessories, speakers and a microphone are supplied for installation on and inside the helmet. Its built-in rechargeable battery charges through USB-C using the supplied cable and a suitable USB power source. The charging indicator goes out when charging is complete.
This set contains 1 intercom, not a pair. Communication with another rider requires a second compatible device.
