These slip-resistant shoe grips help improve traction when walking on snow, ice and slippery paths. Made from black flexible rubber, this size L pair fits shoe sizes 42–45.

Traction and fit

  • 10 studs per grip: 6 at the front and 4 under the heel, with 20 in the set. The metal studs are short with flat ends.
  • Stretch-on attachment: the rubber surrounds the toe, sides and heel. Fit also depends on the width and construction of the sole.
  • Textured rubber: raised areas provide additional contact with the ground.
  • Quick fitting: no tools, buckles or extra straps are needed. The lightweight, compact grips can be stored in a bag or rucksack.

Fitting and use limits

With the studs facing the ground, stretch the front over the shoe toe, then pull the rear section over the heel. Check that the grip sits closely against the sole and does not move. It can fit many sports shoes, winter boots and hiking boots, provided the fit is correct.

Intended for walking and light hiking. These grips do not replace professional mountaineering crampons and are not intended for ice climbing or demanding high-mountain routes. They do not eliminate the risk of slipping. Use on tiles and smooth floors is not recommended: the metal studs may slip and damage the surface.
