Shoe ice grips with spikes and chains, size 36–40, orange
Delivery options to:
Choose countryThese shoe ice grips help improve traction on snow and ice during winter walks and easy hikes. This orange version fits footwear in sizes 36–40, with a flexible rubber fitting around the shoe and chains and spikes beneath the sole.
Traction and fitting
There are 6 spikes at the front and 2 at the rear, with a spike height of 1 cm. They also help with walking on compacted snow. Stretch the fitting over the toe and then the heel; no extra straps or tools are required. Check that the chains are not tangled, the spikes sit beneath the sole and the fitting sits securely around the shoe.
The set contains 2 ice grips for a pair of shoes and a drawstring pouch.
Use and limitations
Designed for walking and hiking, these grips do not replace professional mountaineering crampons. They are not intended for ice climbing or demanding high-mountain terrain. Take care even on snow and ice: the spikes do not eliminate the risk of slipping. Avoid walking on exposed asphalt, tiles and floors, as the spikes may slip, wear down or damage the surface.
