Choose countryThe Ancel S160 is a smoke generator for locating leaks in vehicle systems. Its built-in air pump removes the need for an external compressor, with power supplied by a 12 V battery.
Testing across vehicle systems
Use it to check intake, cooling, EVAP, crankcase, fuel system and tank, exhaust and other piping systems. It helps identify intake manifold gasket leaks, intercooler leaks and improperly closed valves. Supported applications include cars, motorcycles, quads, off-road vehicles, light trucks, snowmobiles and boats.
Operating modes and monitoring
- Two modes: choose Smoke or Air operation.
- Test parameters: flow below 10 l/min and operating pressure of 0.8–14.5 PSI.
- Quick start: fill with 20 ml of test oil; smoke is generated in less than 10 seconds after startup.
- Visible readings: the pressure gauge and flow meter are built into the front panel.
Construction and supplied accessories
The metal housing has a carrying handle and can be hung up. Overheating and freezing protection monitors temperature during use.
Supplied accessories include a smoke delivery hose, tapered adapters, universal sealing adapter, EVAP adapter with removal tool, rubber sealing element, clamping bands, funnel, metal hanging hook, power cord with clamps and user manual.
