Choose countryThe Ancel L300 is an automotive leak detector with separate air and smoke test modes. Its built-in air pump removes the need for an external compressor, while smoke makes leak points visible.
Testing and controls
It supports testing of intake, fuel, EVAP, EGR, exhaust, cooling, crankcase and turbocharger systems, as well as cabin leakage. Independent switches let you control the pump and smoke generator separately.
- Pressure monitoring: the digital gauge offers PSI, Bar, kPa and kg/cm² units to help you track pressure drops during testing.
- Smoke delivery: the generator produces a flow of 6–8 l/min. An integrated flow meter and adjustment knob let you adapt delivery to the system under test.
- Oil monitoring: testing can start with 20 ml of test oil. A level indicator on the side of the housing lets you check the amount remaining.
Power and protection
The unit requires a fully charged 12 V vehicle battery and draws 6 A. Overheat protection shuts it down at 75 °C, while anti-frost protection allows operation even at -20 °C.
Included accessories
The kit contains the detector, power cable with crocodile clips, 2.5 m hose, universal sealing adapter, spare service adapter, smoke dispersion tip, tapered adapters, oil funnel, hanging hook and user manual.
