Applications and connection
The meter is intended for combustion engines with 2 or 4 pistons. Applications include motorcycles, lawnmowers, quad bikes, generators and scooters. The sensor operates inductively: its wire is wrapped around the high-voltage ignition lead without damaging the insulation.
- Housing: water-resistant and shock-resistant.
- Temperature: maximum operating temperature of 85 °C.
- Included: meter, wire and 2 screws.
Important installation conditions
Install only with the engine switched off and cooled down. Route the wire away from hot and moving parts and secure it with cable ties. When using screws, ensure you do not drill into wiring, other installations or tanks. Do not modify the device or its wiring.
Protect it from excessive shocks, water and extreme temperatures. Do not immerse it or direct a pressure-washer jet at it. Do not exceed 85 °C, as this affects accuracy and operation.
