How to measure blood pressure correctly

• Sit comfortably with your back supported and arms resting on a table.
• Avoid caffeine and smoking for 30 minutes before measurement.
• Take measurements at the same time each day.
• Repeat each measurement 3 times and calculate the average.
• Wait 1 minute between measurements.
• Record your results daily.

Normal values

Normal blood pressure: 100–139/60–89 mmHg. Ideal: 120/80 mmHg.
