Snow can stick to the sensors and block their field of view, while prolonged heavy rain can interfere with the anti-masking system. The polycarbonate hood provides additional shelter for the sensors in these conditions.
The hood attaches with Dual Lock tape without removing the detector from its bracket. The set includes the hood, Dual Lock tape and a quick start guide.
