Detection and Alarms
The detector uses a photoelectric sensor to register smoke and a dedicated temperature sensor operating between +54°C and 65°C. In the event of danger, it activates an 85 dB built-in siren along with a light alarm. The device performs a double-check before dispatching an alarm and supports interconnected alarms across compatible devices.
Operation and Installation
Ajax FireProtect operates up to 1,300 meters away from an Ajax Hub in open space using the Jeweller communication protocol, but it can also work autonomously without a hub. The detector features a tamper-resistant enclosure and installs quickly with the SmartBracket mounting panel without disassembling the body.
