Choose countryAjax DualCurtain Outdoor is a white wireless curtain motion detector for indoor and outdoor perimeter protection. Two independent optical systems create narrow detection zones in opposite directions, with an adjustable range of 4–15 m on each side.
Adapt the detection area
Set each side’s range independently to exclude areas such as moving bushes or a public pavement. The optical systems can be shifted vertically. In the app, choose from 3 sensitivity levels or deactivate one optical system.
- Motion analysis: each optical system has 2 PIR sensors. An alarm activates when both simultaneously detect human movement. The ELSA algorithm filters natural interference and pet-triggered signals.
- Close-range detection: Near Area Detection adds a narrow sector angled 40° downwards to detect movement close to the body. This mode is intended for windows and other passages that animals cannot access.
- Tamper protection: masking sensors respond to obstacles, covered lenses and painted lenses. A tamper switch detects removal from the mount.
Connection and power
Add the detector by scanning its QR code in the Ajax app. The app supports detection-zone and communication testing, remote configuration and battery-level viewing. The pre-installed batteries last up to 4 years, with advance notification when maintenance is needed. The package contains the detector, 2 batteries and a mounting panel. Compatible with Hub 2, Hub Plus, Hub 2 Plus and ReX running OS Malevich 2.11 or higher.

Can the two sides be adjusted independently?
Yes. Each optical system’s detection range can be adjusted separately. The Ajax app also lets you change sensitivity or deactivate one of the systems.
