Choose countryThis Malatec 5-shelf storage unit provides storage for a garage, warehouse, cellar or shop. It measures 180 x 90 x 40 cm, with shelf heights that can be adjusted to suit the items being stored.
Construction and configuration
- Adjustable spacing: mounting holes are positioned every 3 cm.
- Load capacity: up to 175 kg per shelf and 875 kg for the whole unit, with weight distributed evenly.
- Materials: 0.65 mm galvanised steel and 4 mm MDF boards, with a reinforcing crossbar beneath each shelf.
- Alternative layouts: the two-part uprights allow assembly as workbenches. Multiple shelving units can also be joined together.
- Floor protection: non-slip plastic foot caps help protect the floor from scratches.
Assembly and safe use
The frame uses boltless assembly with press-fit crossbars. Use a rubber mallet for assembly and read the instructions before starting. Positioning the unit against a wall is recommended for improved stability; at maximum load, it must be screwed to the wall.
Never exceed the shelf load limit. Distribute weight evenly and place the heaviest items on the lowest shelves. Avoid storing the unit in damp rooms.

At maximum load, the unit must be screwed to the wall. Positioning it against a wall is also recommended for improved stability.
