Remote vehicle monitoring
An active LTE Vault subscription in the Garmin Drive app enables live view, vehicle location tracking and parking guard notifications with a clip of the detected incident. Theft alerts notify you if the vehicle is driven without your phone inside. Some vehicles require the Constant Power Cable for live view.
Recording and controls
- Automatic recording: the camera records continuously when connected to vehicle power. Incident detection saves footage from before, during and after an event, together with GPS location, date and time.
- Video sharing: recordings stored in the online Vault are accessible through Garmin Drive. With an LTE subscription or Wi-Fi connection, share clips using a link and passcode.
- Voice control: save video, start or stop audio recording and take still pictures using commands in 6 supported languages.
- Travelapse: condense hours of driving footage into minutes of highlights.
Driving alerts
Forward collision and lane departure warnings alert you to close following distances and drifting out of your lane. “Go” alerts notify you when stopped traffic ahead begins moving. Certain conditions may impair warning functions. Red light and speed camera alerts are not available in all regions.
