The Yongnuo YN1200 is a high-power, compact LED light designed for film sets in studio environments and outdoor locations. Equipped with 1,200 high-performance LEDs, it delivers consistent output with an accurate color reproduction index of CRI > 95.
Adjustable Output and Optical Modifiers
The panel features 600 LEDs rated at 3200 K and 600 LEDs rated at 5500 K, allowing smooth adjustment of light power and color temperature across the 3200 K to 5500 K range. Integrated barn doors and magnetic modifiers offer versatile beam control:
- Milky diffuser: diffuses the beam and eliminates harsh shadows for softer illumination;
- Orange CTO filter: shifts the output toward a warmer color temperature;
- Protection: both attachable filters provide extra physical defense for the LED surface.
Control and Power Configurations
Settings can be adjusted directly via the rear control panel, with the included wireless remote control, or via smartphone using the mobile app over Bluetooth. Both remote options allow multi-lamp grouping and synchronous control up to a range of 15 meters.
The unit operates on either a 19 V / 5 A DC mains adapter or four NP-F series lithium-ion batteries. A built-in 1/4" female tripod mount and an included handle support both handheld operation and tripod mounting, while the integrated ventilation system protects the panel against overheating.
