The Newell GaN Tech T-power 140 W is a mains charger for laptops, smartphones, tablets and other USB-charged devices. Its 3 USB-C and 3 USB-A ports can operate simultaneously, sharing a maximum total output of 140 W.
Power distribution and charging information
Each USB-C port supports up to 100 W individually, while each USB-A port supports up to 30 W. With all 3 USB-C ports in use, the specified allocation is 65 W + 45 W + 30 W. A backlit display shows the charging parameters for each port.
- Fast charging: USB-C supports QC 5, PD 3.0, PD 2.0 and PPS; USB-A also supports QC 3.0.
- GaN technology: uses gallium nitride components.
- Protection: against overheating, overload, overvoltage, overcharging and short circuits.
Connection options for home and travel
The charger accepts 100–240 V, 50–60 Hz mains power. Plug it directly into a compatible socket using a supplied adapter, or connect it using the 1.5 m power cable. The kit includes Type A, Type C and Type G plug adapters and a USB-C to USB-C cable.
