Honeywell PTM7950 phase-change thermal pad, 100 x 160 x 0.2 mm
Delivery options to:
Choose countryHoneywell PTM7950 is a thin phase-change thermal pad for transferring heat between a CPU or GPU and its heatsink. This 100 x 160 mm sheet is 0.2 mm thick and can be cut to fit the contact surface.
How the material works
A polymer matrix filled with thermally conductive particles remains solid at room temperature for straightforward cutting and positioning. At approximately 45 °C, it softens, fills microscopic surface imperfections and forms a thin, uniform thermal interface with low thermal resistance.
The polymer structure helps keep the material within the contact area and resists pump-out during repeated heating and cooling cycles. Maximum thermal performance is reached after several complete cycles as the material conforms to the contact surfaces.
Applications and installation
The pad is suitable for gaming and high-performance laptops, desktop processors, graphics card GPUs, gaming consoles and other electronic devices requiring heat transfer to a heatsink. Unlike thermal paste, the sheet does not need spreading. All tools required for installation are included.

Does the pad need spreading like thermal paste?
No. The material is solid at room temperature, so the sheet can be cut and positioned between the CPU or GPU and its heatsink. At around 45 °C, it softens and conforms to the contact surfaces.
When does it reach maximum thermal performance?
After several complete heating and cooling cycles, allowing the phase-change material to conform to the contact surfaces.
