Choose countryThis multifunction network and fibre optic cable tester supports cable tracing, diagnostics and maintenance. Its transmitter and receiver combine network wiring tests with a 6-wavelength optical power meter and a visual fault locator (VFL).
Trace cables and check connections
Analogue mode locates cables using a signal, while digital mode helps identify the required cable more accurately among other wires, including in environments with signal interference. Receiver sensitivity is adjustable. Supported wiring includes UTP and STP network cables, telephone wires, electrical wires and BNC coaxial cables.
- Wiring tests: check wire sequence and continuity, and detect shorts, open circuits and crossed wires.
- PoE checks: identify the power supply mode and powered pairs; test continuity while connected to a PoE switch or another device.
- RJ45 contacts: check connector crimping and contact connection quality.
- NCV detection: detect voltage without contact in wires, electrical sockets and other equipment.
Fibre diagnostics and everyday operation
Measure optical power and attenuation at 850 / 1300 / 1310 / 1490 / 1550 / 1625 nm, with an optical power measurement range of -70 to +10 dBm. The built-in 10 mW red VFL laser helps locate fibre breaks, bends and other faults.
A backlit LCD displays results, while LED lighting in both the transmitter and receiver assists work in low light. The built-in battery charges through a USB Type-C port.
