The Newell Surja 400 is a 330 W output LED light for photography, video production and stage lighting. Adjustable colour temperature from 2700 to 6500 K and brightness from 0 to 100% let you adapt the light to your scene.
Light output and effects
Its colour rendering index is CRI ≥ 96. At 5600 K and a distance of 1 m, illuminance reaches 15 600 lx without a modifier or 69 400 lx with the included reflector. There are 12 preset effects with adjustable parameters, including TV, candle, explosion, campfire and broken bulb simulations.
Control and mounting
- On-board controls: LCD screen, buttons and an adjustment dial.
- Remote operation: free iOS/Android app or the included LCD remote with a range of up to 30 m.
- DMX integration: DMX 512 control through an RJ45 interface.
- Mounting options: Bowens modifier mount, 16 mm lighting stand mount with a clamping screw, and an umbrella hole.
The fork mount allows angle adjustment and locks in place with a clamp. The kit contains the light, remote control and a reflector that narrows the beam. Power consumption is 400 W, with a 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz input.
