Newell Cinenoir is black aluminium foil for controlling light in photography, film and video production. Its double-sided matte surface absorbs light to help cut unwanted sections of a beam and reduce glare and reflections.
Control light spill and shape shadows
Use the foil as a flag or gobo around lights, a light-absorbing background or a shield against lateral reflections reaching the lens. It also supports shadow shaping, special effects and creative lighting in the studio or on location.
- Flexible shaping: the 55 μm foil bends, rolls and moulds around lights, stands or set elements.
- Shape retention: it does not spring back and needs no additional clips or holders to retain its formed shape.
