The Yongnuo YN55K is a 55 cm octagonal softbox designed to deliver soft, diffused illumination for photography and video production.
Light Control and Diffusion
The interior of the dome features a silver coating that provides high reflectivity while minimizing light loss. The kit includes two diffusion fabrics—one inner and one outer. They can be installed individually or combined to fine-tune light softness and shadow transitions.
Mounting and Portability
Equipped with a standard Bowens mount, the modifier is compatible with Yongnuo LUX series lights (such as LUX100, LUX100 Pro, LUX160, and LUX200) and other lighting units utilizing a Bowens fitting. Flexible rods and durable fabrics allow for fast unfolding, while the total package weighs 450 g including the provided transport bag.
