The MOES WSS-S-SSD-A is a smart smoke detector with audible and visual alarms and smartphone notifications. It connects to the Tuya platform over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi without an additional control hub.

Smoke detection and alerts

The detector analyses infrared light scattered by smoke particles. When the set threshold is exceeded, it activates an audible alarm and red LEDs. The sound level is ≥85 dB at 3 m, with a monitoring area of 30 m². Alarm thresholds can be adjusted to environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and airflow.

Controls and routine checks

App access: view status, receive smoke and status-change notifications, run a test and turn the alarm on or off.
Button and indicators: manual testing, alarm silencing and LED indication of operation, alarm status and network connection.
Setup: Smart Link and AP connection modes.

Power comes from 2 AAA batteries (GP-GN24A), sold separately. The detector monitors battery level and provides a replacement reminder. No mains connection is required.
