Choose countryThe SONOFF SNZB-03P is a wireless motion sensor for automating lighting and other smart home routines. It detects movement up to 6 m away across a 110° angle and runs on a CR2477 battery, so no nearby power socket is needed.
Motion and light-based routines
The sensor detects motion every 5 seconds and checks whether ambient light is sufficient. Depending on your settings, it can switch lights on as you pass and off after you leave the room, without automatically turning them on during daylight.
- Automation: connected devices can change the lighting, start music or activate a camera.
- Alerts: motion can trigger a notification to your smart device and activate a connected camera or deterrent signal.
- App control: configure settings in eWeLink, or use the SmartThings app with a compatible SmartThings hub.
- Mounting: use 3M adhesive, screws or the magnetic mounting design, with adjustable sensor direction.
Connection and installation conditions
A Zigbee hub is required for operation. The sensor is suitable for corridors, entrances and staircases. Voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is supported.
Mount on a solid, vibration-free surface. Avoid heat sources, air conditioners, direct sunlight and positions beneath rotating objects. Do not install outdoors. Pets and other objects with a temperature similar to the human body may also trigger the sensor.
