Choose countryThe Maclean MCE821 is a white recessed PIR motion sensor for automatic lighting control in homes, offices, corridors and utility rooms. It detects movement through 360° at distances up to 8 m, while its recessed design provides a discreet fit within the interior.
Adjustable lighting control
The light-on time can be set from approximately 10 seconds to 15 minutes. Each new motion detection restarts the timer. An adjustable twilight sensor lets you select the ambient light level at which lighting control becomes active.
Installation and electrical load
The sensor is designed for recessed installation at a height of 1.8–4 m and operates on a 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz supply. The maximum load is 1200 W for resistive loads or 600 W for inductive loads, so the load type matters when selecting connected lighting.

Does the sensor only work in darkness?
The twilight sensor threshold is adjustable, allowing you to set the ambient light level at which the sensor starts controlling the lighting.
