The IPC-PFW3849S-A180-AS-PV is an 8 MP IP surveillance camera with dual CMOS sensors and a fixed-focal 2.8 mm lens. Its 180° horizontal and 86° vertical field of view covers a wide scene, with a maximum resolution of 4096 × 1860.

Imaging and event analysis

IR illumination reaches up to 25 m, while warm-light illumination reaches up to 20 m. Lighting can be controlled automatically or manually. The camera also provides 120 dB WDR and 3D noise reduction.

Perimeter monitoring: intrusion and tripwire detection support human and vehicle classification, alongside SMD 4.0.
Event review: Quick Pick works with an AI NVR, while Smart Search works with a Smart NVR. EPTZ enlarges and tracks intelligent alarm targets.
Audio: dual built-in microphones and a speaker, plus separate audio input and output.
Storage: microSD cards up to 256 GB, FTP, SFTP or NAS.

Connection and installation

Power the camera using PoE (802.3af) or 12 V DC (±30%). It supports ONVIF Profiles S, G and T. The metal housing has an IP67 protection rating, with an operating temperature range of –40 °C to +60 °C. The main stream supports up to 20 fps; simultaneous streams are subject to the total encoding capacity.
