Newell 4-in-1 U-shaped photography reflector, 160 x 80 cm
The Newell 4-in-1 U-shaped reflector has a 160 x 80 cm panel for shaping light in portrait, beauty, fashion and wedding photography. Its curved design with a 74° angle creates a crescent-shaped catchlight and helps soften shadows beneath the eyes, nose and chin.
Four surfaces for different lighting effects
Two double-sided covers let you choose the surface to suit the scene and the light you want to create.
- White: provides soft, neutral reflection.
- Silver: produces stronger reflection and higher contrast.
- Gold: gives the light a warmer tone.
- Black: absorbs light, deepens shadows and helps control unwanted reflections.
Positioning and tilt adjustment
Place the reflector beneath the model’s face in a clamshell lighting setup, paired with a beauty dish, softbox or LED ring light. The metal joint lets you adjust the tilt to direct the reflected light. The mount fits a lighting stand spigot.
Sectional frame and transport
The lightweight aluminium frame keeps the fabric taut to minimise creases and unevenness. Its sectional construction can be taken apart for storage and transport. The frame components and rolled covers fit into the included zip-up carry bag with a carrying strap.
