The EcoFlow Alternator Charger 600W is a smart car charger designed to use energy generated by your vehicle alternator to rapidly recharge portable power stations while driving. With up to 600 W of output power, it can replenish approximately 1 kWh of energy in about 1.9 hours, offering a much faster alternative to traditional cigarette lighter socket charging.
Three Operating Modes
The charger features versatile modes tailored to different mobile power needs:
- Power Station Charging: delivers up to 600 W to replenish portable stations on the go.
- Battery Maintenance Mode: supplies up to 100 W to help maintain correct vehicle starter battery voltage.
- Reverse Charging Mode: transfers power from your power station back to the starter battery to prevent discharge when operating auxiliary 12V equipment.
Comprehensive Electrical Protection
Engineered for electrical safety, the charger features reverse polarity protection, overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, overvoltage/undervoltage protection, and overheat protection. An inline 125 A fuse provides additional circuit security, while the IP4X-rated enclosure protects against dust ingress. Passive heat dissipation allows silent thermal management, and EMC Class B compliance ensures no interference with vehicle electronics.
Easy Installation and Real-Time Monitoring
A Plug & Play design and braided cables make vehicle installation simple and abrasion-resistant. The charger activates automatically with the engine ignition wire. Users can track voltage, battery levels, and estimated charging times in real time via the EcoFlow app or directly through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
