The 4FIZJO MED pneumatic orthopaedic boot is a removable walker orthosis for stabilising the foot, ankle and part of the lower leg after injury or surgery. This size L version fits shoe sizes 44–46.5 and is 27.94 cm high.
Adjustable support
- Air chamber: built-in air pressure adjustment lets you adapt the fit and fixation.
- Adjustable straps: hook-and-loop fastenings help fit the boot to the leg and hold it in place.
- Support structure: a shoe-shaped PVC splint provides stabilisation.
- Inner lining: soft material and a design that dissipates heat and moisture.
The orthosis can be removed and put back on, making leg hygiene easier.
Applications and restrictions
Intended for stabilisation after ankle sprains and dislocations, orthopaedic surgery, foot and ankle fractures and cracks, and for Achilles tendon strains, partial tears and ruptures. It can also serve as an alternative to a plaster cast where immobilisation is required.
Contraindications: do not use with joint deformities, ulcers or skin lesions in the area where the orthosis is applied. People with diabetes must consult a doctor and obtain approval before use. Use is not recommended in the event of an allergy to the product materials or after complex surgical procedures.
